Donald Trump’s second “first hundred days” have been informed by both the lessons and the grudges of his first term. Journal writers weigh in on the administration’s start.
In his first 100 days, President Trump has been a victim of the high expectations he set. He’s delivered on some major promises, but the disappointments have overshadowed the accomplishments.
He’s been fighting to get men out of women’s sports and roll back diversity, equity and inclusion. Republicans may keep corporate and income taxes from going up later this year. Cuts to the federal bureaucracy are a work in progress. The U.S. Agency for International Development, which was funding anti-American nongovernmental organizations worldwide, has had its wings clipped.
